Description: Leaves from an old art book, neoclassical paintings from a baroque period. Now I have painted black on top of the image of the religious figure. I have covered it with oil materials and then with acrylic, in such a way that it gave the effect of polishing in the middle, a brilliant penumbra, a vortex or a spectrum. Additionally, on the next page I have written the phrase "Preambula Fidei" with a very old typewriter.

The Latin expression Preambula Fidei is known within theology and within the figures of scholastic philosophy. What has interested me in this is involving the image in my drawings from a scholastic tradition. The title alludes to a "theology of painting", the development of images to create theology is of great importance in the Hispanic tradition. Covering it is a negation, but not at the same time, because this is a specific moment before the epiphany, a preamble to something not evident, shortly before when it is not yet mystical and a test of faith it is.
