Natural history and transparency of time

Pictorial installation. (installation presented in the exhibition "Good Art from Bad Rubbish", recently presented at the "Casa de Mono" Cultural Center, Cali, Colombia.)
Description: is made up of two elements:

1. An acrylic on canvas (200 cm² )

2. one 3D print modell of the space probe Pioneer 10 (18 cm²)

 

Note: the painting is an appropriation of the album cover of "Historia Natural", by Chocolatinas Jet.

In another way, the Pionner launched from Cape Canaveral on April 5, 1973. It manages to cross the asteroid belt with a trajectory near Jupiter. On September 1, 1979 it reached Saturn).

Dimensions: 2 m², approximately.
